Start new school year in Peru

After two months of vacation, the new school year started and in Añañau also we began the activities of the school year. For many children, the first day of school is very special but also very difficult since they do not have the financial means to buy school supplies, which causes them to not attend school regularly. In the project we carry out activities so that children are prepared for the new school year but we also promote the importance of attending school.

One of the activities carried out was the school fair where the children bought school supplies with fake money that they obtained for a month during different activities. It was a fun and enriching experience where they learned to value and care for school supplies, in this way the children were ready to start the school year.
